Hand Saw Rack - 3D Printed
On the right, I’ve messing about with Chat GPT and asked for a hand saw rack that uses dowel as a lock mechanism and this is what I got. Amusing enough I thought to include here. While a lot if what AI is doing is pretty neat, it’s far from perfect!
Anyway, the project here is intended to maximize shop storage and minimize the time to get there. I’ve 800 years of projects, and while a beautiful hand made walnut saw rack with French polish would be lovely, I wanted my saws stored now! 3D printing gets things done quickly

Rollers with O rings. the rings and rubber in the next shot have a high coefficient of friction with the saw blade and hold them securely in place
3″ wide rubber strip with an adhesive backing fits a shallow recess in the body
Time to screw them to an old piece of plywood and see if this works.
